Market Update 2017

  • The Australian share market has once again been FLAT, with the All Ords hovering around 5,800 for the better part of 4 months now.
  • The RBA left interest rates on hold for the 12 consecutive month.
  • The Aussie $ has fallen slightly from 80c (US) to 79c.
  • In China, Q2 GDP data showed the economy growing at 1.7% per quarter and 6.9% per annum. While stronger than expected, this is the same annual growth rate as Q1 2017
